A place called Tokaj

Every bottle begins somewhere. For The Wine Traveller, the journey begins in Tokaj, a wine region in Slovakia with a landscape that invites you to slow down and look a little closer.

The original project was built around sharing that place with wine lovers in Copenhagen. Tastings connected the glass to the vineyards, the people and the choices behind the wine.

Tokaj is often associated with sweetness, but that is only part of the story. The wines selected for the project also showed a lighter, fresher side of the region. That sense of discovery is what we want to carry into these pages.
